Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a mild third surfactant which boosts the bubbles and helps to make the shampoo bar milder. A bit of citric acid reduces the pH to a level good for hair. Panthenol’s role in the recipe is to increase shine, and the rice protein is for hair strength.
